Training Workshop: "How to Conduct Effective Performance Appraisals That Lead to Sustainable Improvements in Employee Performance and Motivation" Do you want your managers and supervisors trained in conducting effective staff evaluations? We can deliver high quality appraiser training aimed at helping managers and supervisors conduct appraisals. Includes an ANPAS user license. All workshop notes and materials provided. Target audience Managers and supervisors who are (or who will be) expected to conduct employee performance appraisals. Topics covered · Overview of the performance appraisal process · The evaluation-feedback-performance model · Collecting data and keeping records · Conducting performance interviews · Common pitfalls and traps · Improving performance by use of frequent feedback · Conflict resolution and the "difficult employee" · Linking rewards to appraisal outcomes · Uses and abuses of performance appraisal · Appraisals, discipline and termination · Legal and ethical issues · Orienting employees to the appraisal process · Modifying inappropriate employee behaviours · Using appraisal results for employee development Participants Recommended group size of about 15 (maximum 20 per workshop). Duration 2 day training workshop (12 hours in 4 x 3 hour blocks, plus lunch and coffee breaks.) Venue A suitable training room, boardroom, or other meeting room at your workplace or nearby. (often a Holiday Inn, Hilton, Crowne Plaza, etc., venue). At our expense Travel, accommodation, meals, etc., are at our expense. On-site training is usually around 1/2 the cost of sending employees away for off-site training, especially if you have a group of around 15 or more to be trained. At your expense Cost of venue hire (if applicable), lunch and refreshments for participants. Workshop cost US$550.00 per person for the 2 day workshop. Minimum booking 15 persons. (Less can attend if you wish, but the minimum workshop cost is based on 15 persons.) Will you train and certify our in-house trainers? Yes. Your trainers must attend one of the standard on-site workshops and we will prepare them for certification (perpetual certification) to deliver the training in-house. Certification is a separate study and examination process after the initial standard workshop and costs US$2,500.00 per trainer certified. Who conducts the workshops? We send senior consultants to conduct these workshops. Without exception, they are professionally qualified and extensively experienced in working at senior levels in human resources management, training and evaluation. But will you come to ... ? It doesn't matter where you're located - Alaska, Australia, Iceland or India. Our consultants travel regularly to many parts of the world to present workshops. A remote loading may apply to very remote locations. We will advise should this apply. We have a big group to train ... For consecutive workshops in the same location please ask for a special rate price. Language Workshops are available in English only. Translation rights If your workforce is non-English speaking, your trainers (once certified) will have the right to translate the training workshop and the ANPAS appraisal system into your preferred language. There are no additional royalties or fees for this. Booking and terms A minimum of eight (8) weeks notice is required from the time of the booking to the date of the workshop. A deposit of forty percent (40%) of the workshop fee is required to confirm. Cancellation (i) by the client or (ii) by Archer North & Associates due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., civil strife, natural disaster), will result in a refund less any documented unrecoverable costs already incurred by Archer North & Associates. Any other cancellation will result in a full refund. Deposit and payment is accepted via American Express, Mastercard or Visa, or by direct bank wire (TT) transfer (account details on request).
